2024 Gala Update

The 2024 Gala planning committee is working on securing all the details for a Spring 2024 Gala event!

HOW DO I BUY TICKETS?

Tickets are available for purchase on this webpage (click here). Sponsorships are another way to purchase tickets with a few extra perks, see below.All tickets include a Bidder Number, Mobile Bidding, heavy appetizers and desserts provided by the renowned Kevin Taylor's at the Opera House, cash bar, a chance to win some amazing items and a super fun night!

4 Gala tickets and same other items as Diamond level.

RUBY - $350

Gala 101 - Everything you need to know about the Ruby Jubilee!What is the Ruby Jubilee and why are we having it?
Our annual Gala is the biggest fundraiser of the year, including a silent and live auction. This year we are celebrating the Children's Center's 40 year anniversary. The Gala is an adults-only event and is a fun night spent hanging out with other parents, staff and supporters from our school. Our goal this year is $40,000!

What is the money raised used for?
The goals of the Gala this year are to raise $40,000 to:Keep necessary tuition increases at a minimum; Maintain competitive wages & benefits for our long-tenured, highly qualified eductors; Protect our healthy, high quality & homemade lunch and snack program; Preserve our exceptional low student to teacher ratio.

Mobile Bidding - How do you score the good stuff?
You will use your smart phone at the event to bid on silent auction items and to purchase games of chance entries, using your assigned bidder number. Silent auction items will be on display but bidding will be done through your mobile device.

You will be able to preview items that will be up for auction as soon as they are entered into the system and we expect to have the mobile bidding site live before the event to allow you to start bidding early.

Not able to attend the event but still want to bid? You will be able to purchase a Mobile Bidding Pass online shortly.

What to expect at the auction?
Arrive at the Denver Performing Arts Complex and head for the Marquee with our event listed, at the private entrance to the Opera House (look for the Red Carpet!). Head inside and down the grand staircase to make your entrance to the dazzling Chambers Grant Salon.

You will check in with Gala volunteers and get your bidder number and paddle for the Live Auction. Grab a beverage at the cash bar and enjoy passed hors d'oeuvers while mingling with friends and perusing and bidding on the Silent Auction items.

Bidding will be ongoing for the Silent auction, Live auction items will be previewed, the appetizer stations and bars will be open, and games of chance will be happening.The Silent auction will close and we will prepare for the Heads or Tails game and then on to the Live Auction with our professional auctioneer Libby leading us through the items. Don't be surprised if you discover you have a competitive streak when it comes to winning those big ticket items! Even if you're not planning on purchasing a live auction item, this is the most fun part of the night.

What types of items will be available?
A list with descriptions of items for both the silent and live auctions will be available before the event. Things like restaurant certificates, spa services, a cooking class, swim lessons, Broncos tickets, mountain vacation home stays, a tropical vacation, tickets to local attractions, buy-a-share events, seats on the Party Bus, the infamous "Welcome to Park Hill" Vegas sign and much more. There is something for everyone.Coordinate big purchases, like trip packages, with friends so you can better your chances to win big!

What is the Heads or Tails game?
Bidders can purchase a spot for just $25 in this exciting game that will take place right before the Live auction. All players will choose to be Heads or Tails and the Auctioneer will flip a coin - if it lands on your choice, you stay in for another round. This year the last person standing will win a fabulous trip to Las Vegas!
